Hosting

This site is served through Cloudflare, Inc., which processes your IP address and technical request data to deliver the pages and block attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in a secure, working website). Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies & analytics

I use PostHog (PostHog, Inc., USA) to understand how visitors use this site. It records the pages you view, clicks (including on the booking and profile links), the referring website, your browser and device type and your approximate location, and it records your visit as a session replay (scrolling, mouse movements, clicks and how the pages change). Everything you type is masked. To recognise later visits, PostHog stores a random identifier in a cookie and in your browser's local storage. Recordings are deleted after 30 days. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in improving this site. Transfers to the USA are covered by PostHog's data processing agreement, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can opt out at any time; this browser is then no longer tracked.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format by emailing the address above. You may also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
