AI Dashcam Video Monitoring in Angular: KeepTruckin Case Study

Context

KeepTruckin, now Motive, builds fleet-management software for trucking companies. Its AI dashcam records driving events, and fleet managers needed to review them on the web.

My role

Web frontend engineer responsible for the dashcam video feature on the web platform, working with product owners and designers.

What I did

Built the video monitoring feature from scratch: browsing, filtering and playing back dashcam events.
Designed and developed reports that give fleet managers an overview of their vehicles and drivers.
Covered the feature with unit and integration tests.

Outcome

Fleet managers could review dashcam footage directly in the web dashboard.
A tested feature that shipped as part of a core product line.
